Snow Day!

When cabin fever kicks in, it's time to get out! We broke out some old Maine winter gear and 4-wheeled our way to a hill to do some sledding! After some snowball fights and snowman building, we finished the day with hot cocoa and a nap in front of the fire!

Okay....suddenly we remember why the snow gets less exciting as it piles up! I guess snowfalls of this magnitude are not very common here in this part of Washington, so they are not really equipped to deal with it...although the boys didnt mind starting their christmas break three days early!!

I've never been as excited to walk out in 26 degree weather to pick up the morning paper as I am here...the beauty of this place never ceases to amaze me!
